How to verify a peptide COA (most are theater)

Most COAs are theater. A certificate of analysis proves nothing on its own, because the seller controls which sample gets tested and which document you see.

What sellers do

• Pick the best sample and test only that.
• Reuse someone else's COA for a different batch.
• Fake the document outright.

How to actually verify one

• Check the batch and lot number on the testing lab's own site. Not the seller's screenshot. Real labs let you look a batch up.
• Match the cap color to the lab's record where they publish it.
• Test the exact vial you received. A COA for a different batch tells you nothing about yours.

The tell

If a seller can't give you a batch number that resolves on the lab's own site, treat the COA as decoration. That is the whole game.
